Our Company - Our History

Watson Realty, a trusted name since 1965, was a dream of Bill Watson`s even while he was a student at Stetson University in the late 1950`s. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with a major in Real Estate and Insurance he completed his military obligation and returned to Jacksonville , immediately going to work in the industry of his choice. Watson Realty Corp. began on December 16, 1965 as a single office real estate company in a shared storefront with Bill Watson and one part-time sales agent. From the beginning, Watson Realty has focused on Legendary Quality Service, with long-range rather than short-term goals - building upon a foundation of strong leadership and salesmanship.

Watson Realty`s first branch office opened on March 1, 1970 and we have continued to expand ever since - now with 45 residential sales offices and more than 2,000 sales associates throughout Northeast Florida, the Beaches, Gainesville and South Georgia .
